Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre
The $22.4-million, 66,566 sq. ft. structure is the new home of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre, Alberta Health Services: Red Deer Child and Youth Addiction and Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, and the Step Up Step Down youth live-in addiction and mental health program.
The building, constructed by Eagle Builders, was completed in the Summer 2023. The 3-story, contemporary design, will be built with intentional common and shared spaces to cultivate collaboration between allied partners, and create an environment that children, youths and families feel comfortable and safe in.
The Centre of Excellence, a one-of-a-kind building in Canada, is an industry leading, evidence-based model strategically located on the Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Campus – built to strengthen integration for all partners involved. This is a proven model to reduce long-term impacts of abuse on children, youth and families, cut back on systemic costs of child abuse and, ultimately, save more lives. Thanks to the partnership with RDP, the location creates not only a safe place for children and families in Central Alberta to seek and receive support, but a place of innovation and research – to not only aid in the intervention of child abuse and mental health, but for prevention of these societal issues. Education is a key factor in the role of child abuse prevention, and the RDP partnership is a main component to building this foundation.

Since 1970, they have provided reliable and affordable child care services to the Red Deer community with the integral awareness that all children are unique. Red Deer Child Care offers a wide variety of programs, specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of modern households with children, ages 0 to 12.
Outsource Installations Ltd. played a pivotal role in the successful move into their newly renovated head office located at 100-6700 76 Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4P 4G6.
We started working with Outsource Installations in late 2020 after receiving a recommendation to use them to help move our office to its new location.
The service that was provided by Phil, Brittney and their team was exceptional and went far above and beyond anything that was even remotely expected from them.
The streamlined process they have in place to complete this move was impressive. They have an incredible system put into place that makes the move so much easier. They took such care in moving everything in and out, ensuring to do everything they could to minimize any damage that could have happened and as often happens in moves. We have used them since in other small moves with some of our programs, even moving larger items from one program to another. In addition to managing those kinds of services, their business also offers furniture sales. Brittney has a great eye for detail and design, and while we didn’t have any large projects, the furniture that we did get through them for our board room, is terrific. It fits the space so well, and it looks stunning. Their pricing is very reasonable and they also do great work with non-profit organizations. I highly recommend them if you are needing their services, whether it’s to complete an office move, or if you’re in the market for new and/or used office furniture. You can’t go wrong with Outsource Installations.
